When you register a property or manage a listing on Bufeco, we collect:
- Account details — owner or manager name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Property details — property name, address, room and bunk inventory, photos, amenities, and pricing.
- Verification documents — business registration, property ownership or management proof, and tax identification, used to confirm you can legally list the property.
- Financial details — bank account or payout information, used to transfer booking earnings to you.
- Booking & performance data — reservations received, occupancy, cancellations, and guest reviews.
- Communications — messages exchanged with guests or with Bufeco support through the platform.
02How we use it
We use partner information to:
- Create and verify your property listing.
- Display accurate availability, pricing, and amenities to travelers.
- Process bookings and calculate payouts.
- Provide partner support and handle booking disputes.
- Share performance insights, such as booking trends for your property.
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the marketplace, including fraud prevention.
03Payouts & financial data
Bank and payout details are used solely to transfer earnings from confirmed bookings and are handled through our payment processing partners. Bufeco does not use your financial details for any purpose beyond payouts, tax reporting, and fraud prevention required by law.
05Data retention
We retain property, verification, and financial records for as long as your partner account is active, and afterward for the period required by tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Listing content is removed from public search once a property is delisted.
06Your rights & choices
- Access the information we hold about your property and account.
- Correct inaccurate listing or business information.
- Request deletion of your partner account, subject to any active bookings and legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
To request deletion of your hotel or property account, visit our delete account page. For other requests, contact us using the details below.
07Security
We protect partner and financial data with encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and regular security reviews. Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
08Compliance & verification
We may verify submitted business and property documents against public or third-party records to prevent fraudulent listings. This information is used only for verification and compliance, not for marketing purposes.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through your partner dashboard before they take effect.
